And if you picture my grandpa, looking like Heidi\u2019s own, a large, heavy old man, you will realise that in my mind it was all some kind of ritual.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course, I don\u2019t think I could ever bear to make taramosalata over such long hours, no matter how much I like it \u2013 and I like it a lot\u2026 Every Clean Monday, as I eat taramosalata, I wonder why we don\u2019t make these special treats more often\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-253\" src=\"https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_blender4-960x779.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"609\" srcset=\"https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_blender4-960x779.jpg 960w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_blender4-595x483.jpg 595w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_blender4-768x623.jpg 768w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_blender4.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019ve tried many nice taramosalata dips, in homes and restaurants, but the ones that always stood out to me were the ones with a mousse-like light texture. Looking on the internet for a \u201cmousse-y\u201d taramosalata, I discovered that the magic ingredient that brought this airiness was, quite possibly, carbonated water! And I was so happy that on my first try, my suspicions were confirmed\u2026<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p><div id=\"foodu-1563811469\" class=\"foodu-content foodu-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5535285804585877\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5535285804585877\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"1204250869\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">140g of white fish roe<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 small potatoes, boiled and mashed with a fork<\/li>\n<li>1 medium onion, dry and blended<\/li>\n<li>50ml of carbonated water<\/li>\n<li>Juice from 2 lemons (about 70ml)<\/li>\n<li>300-350ml of light olive oil (yes, you read that right, this recipe needs a lot)<\/li>\n<li>2-3 tbsp of chopped dill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-256\" src=\"https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_ylika1_1-960x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_ylika1_1-960x640.jpg 960w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_ylika1_1-595x397.jpg 595w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_ylika1_1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_ylika1_1-870x580.jpg 870w, https:\/\/foodurismo.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/taramosalata_ylika1_1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Put the fish roe in a blender, along with the mashed potatoes, lemon juice, onion and carbonated water and beat for about 8 to 10 minutes. That will take some time, but in total taramosalata needs about 20 minutes of pretty intense battering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" fridge, so that all the tastes blend together well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if you give it the joy of spreading it over a good lagana flatbread, homemade or not, it
